DIARY: DECEMBER

First week 30-4
This week we don't do a lot of things. I had a lot of homework, but in the class we don't do anything very important. The exam of Biology I do Monday was very ok, I think I will have a 8. Monday the teacher put the notes of the term. I think I will take good marks.

Second week 7-11
Monday and Tuesday was free so it's ok. We have exam of Tecnology Thursday. I think it won't be very difficult, but we must study.

Third week 14-18
This week we didn't do a lot of work. It was the last week so we do a lot of different activities. The last day, 18, at morning we recive the marks of the term. We do a breakfast with all of the school. Later we see a movie: " El gran cañon". There's the best week in the school.

REFLEXION OF ORAL PRESENTATION

- Did you use any resources? Yes, I do. I use a very good power point. I think that I do a thing that I never do. I present my oral without reeding anything.

- Were the resources relevant and attractive? Yes. The photos very very relevant, because without photos of the animals I can't explain anything.

- Did you look at your audience most of the time? Well, I sometimes look at the power point and I sometimes laugh when I saw anyone.

- Did you read from your notes? No, I didn't.

- Did you do any gestures/movement to hold the attention of your audience? Yes. I mark in the power point with the finger the parts of animals I talk or where are the camouflages of animals.

- Did you organize your ideas in order of importance? Yes. The ideas haven't got one more important than the other, but I search order.

- Did you use discourse markers to to make your ideas more clear? (First, then, secondly,on the one hand, on the other hand, finally..) - Yes, I did.

- Did you introduce interesting NEW information to your audience? Yes. I introduce a lot of new curiosities of animals!

- Did you look up information/facts/ideas in the internet, books..?was your information more superficial or more detailed, and original? My information was very detailed and original I think. I didn't say any information superficial.

- Did you check your grammar?(verbs, word order) - I do it, but when I was walking I do a lot of fails.

- Did you use rich vocabulary looking up the dictionary?(synonyms, new words, expressions..)
I think yes. To explain some situation I must use a new vocabulary.

- Did you use sentence linkers?(and, but, moreover, also, furthermore, although,however..)
Not much. A lot of and, but and also. moreover and although I never use this linkers.

- Did you use fillers?(well, you know, for example, one second..) I use some fillers. Like well.

- Did you know how to pronounce all your words? Yes, I know. I fail some words. I put very nervous... I laugh and some words I don't remember and I pass the image.

- Did you check the pronunciation with a dictionary, a classmate or the teacher? Yes, I do.

- Did you change your tone of voice or use a monotone tone all the time?Did you speed in a fluid continuum or with breaks and interruptions? I think that I change my tone of voice. Also I talk very fast.

I think that my mark is an 7-8 because my oral was very great and grammar and topic was great.
But I don't have to have and exelent because I fail in grammar and some words.

TWILIGHT

Bella is a girl who lives in Phoenix. Her mother and her new boyfriend go to work to an other city and Bella must go to live with his father in Forks. His father gives her a car. In the first day of school Bella meets a lot of friends, but she meets a strange boy, Edward. At first Edward doesn't want to be with him, but later they are friends. When Bella discover that Edward does strange things, he decide to answer him. Edward says the truth, he is a vampire, but he only drinks blood of animals. Bella accepts this. One day she visits his family. Later they go to play baseball. When they are playing, three new vampires appeared. They are James, Victoria and Laurent. One of them, James, has an obsession with Bella. All the family ran away. Alice, Jasper and Bella go to a hotel. Edward and the other try to lie to the hunter. But they can't and James lie Bella. He phones Bella and he says that he has her mother. They have a quote on her old ballet school. When she arrives he try to kill him but he can't. Edward arrives and help Bella. At the end, we can see the girlfriend of James, Victoria, thinking how she can kill Bella. When Bella and Edward are dancing.

Curiosities of Animals

Good morning. I'm Albert Juan and I'm studiant of Casa Nostra School. Introduce your talk
What's your topic?
Today I'm talking about curiosities of strange animals.

General explanation
I'm going to show you some case of animals. They are curiosities and strange and I'll comment every photo. I think it's very interesting

First I'm going to talk about two strange and unusual animals that where found in Isle of Caba in North of Vietnam. There are so strange because never saw a strange zool or a frog with teeth, it's stryking think that there are animals like these in the world.
After that I'm going to explain you a different types of camouflage of these animals. In theses photos you can look one frog, one octopus and two fishes. If you don't see some animal you can ask me :)
Now I will talk about the strange colors of these animals. There are a strange animal with the colors like spiderman, the hero of Marvel. In the next photo you can watch 4 types of frog, all of they very poisonous.
Other strange animal is krill. The experts think that krill it's the most abundant animal in the world. Only in the Ocean Antartic there are 500 milions of tones in kilograms. Theres a lot of krill, think that it's small.
Why all the cockroach die setback? Well this question is a little bit difficult to answer. In first term if the die is natural the coackroach setback because the rigor mortis of her legs are different and this produce a imbalance. Second term is if cockroach die by insecticide. If this happen, the brain of the animal produce a lot of spasms and one of this setback the cockroach and he can't put ok other time and die. Interesting, isn't it?
Finally I will talk about the yawn of animals. Only the humans yawn because they are tired or need oxigen. The others animals yawn to say to their enemys :I have a big bit and if you will fight with me you will die”. Conclusion

THE DIARY: NOVEMBER

First week 2-6
This week we had a very important exam. The exam of FiQ. I think that it will be ok because I study for it. Also, Friday we must gave the work of the vulcanos of Croscat and in Wednesday we do the the oral presentation. I had it very prepareted. It was a very hard week. All the days we have homework or a difficult exams or work. I was very stressed.

Second week 9-13
I did a very bad exam. The worst in my life. It's probably that I fall. But well, one day this must happen no?¿ :). All the work and exams of the last week the mark was ok. FiQ 7, oral presentation I think that it's 8 but the teacher don't give the mark yet. The work of vulcanos 8, so I don't have to do the exam of unit 1 because if you have more than 7 you mustn't do it. I think that this week don't be very hard.

Third week 16-20
It's week of exams. But this week only have 2 exams. One of English a litle bit difficult because I don't have time to finish grammatic and other of Catala that we'll do. I don't think that it will do difficult because it will be of grammar and I do it well. The next week will be very very hard. We have exams of maths, FiQ, socials and Biology!

Fourth week 23-27
I mark a 9,1 of main exam maths. The other exams'll be very well but I don't know the mark yet. Now it's time to relax, because the last week I was very stressed. Thurday and Friday I was till. I repose and I don't do the exam of Biology. I'll do it Monday, I think.

BARACK OBAMA 09 AND NOVEL PRICE

In my opinion it's OK that Obama won this price, but I think that there are other people who deserved more these price. Obama works to destroy the nuclar argument, but in their country have this arms. Obama works to finish the war of Iran, but his soldiers are fighting in Iran. And in this world there are a lot of people like greenpeace or Amnistia Internacional that they want to help people and are more clear.
I think that Obama it's not the ideal person to won this price, but I don't say that he didn't do anything. He is the first black president in America so something do well.

THE DIARY: OCTUBER

First week 5-9
This Monday we had an exam of history. Was very easy so I think I'll have a good mark. Tuesday we went to La Garrotxa to see the volcanoes. Of this excursion we must do a work. This work is make a diary of two pages and explain what we learn. It isn't difficult but we must have more than a Notable because we musn't do the exam of unit 1. My partner is Marc Nogué.

Second week 12-16
Monday was free day. I study for the exam of maths of Tuesday. These week haven't do a lot of interesting things but we had a lot of work to do. These teachers put a lot of homework.

Third week 19-23
Yesterday we did a exam of English. I think that was very easy. Today we give the diary to Ana Larroy and if we have more than a 7 we musn't do the exam of unit 1. Thursday and Friday we'll do two exams more, one of biology and the other of catala. I think that the more difficult will be biology exam.

Fourth week 25-29

This week is a relaxed week. We have the normal homework. Two exercises of maths, one of tecnology... It's a week to relax, but we must study for the next week. It'll be very hard.

THE DIARY: SEPTEMBER

First week: 14-18
This week we didn't do a lot of things, because was the first week. I didn't feel tired so I thank that school would be easy. But it wasn't true. In this week we only did one exam of maths, and was a surprised exam and didn't count a lot.

Second week: 21-25
In this week we did more things than the other. The people worked more harder and the teachers gave us a lot of information so we must study. Also we did three surprise exams: maths, fisical and socials. I thank that I did a goods exams. Now I'm waiting for the note.

Third week: 27-2
This week isn't finished. today are wednesday and I'm a little bit nervous because tomorrow we have 2 exams. One of spanish and the other of tecnologic. Spanish isn't very difficult, but tecno has a lot of formulas and it's a little bit difficult. But I think that if I study I can get a good mark :)

A LIFE STORY

I was born in Banyoles in 1994. When I was young, we lived in a different flat smaller than my flat now. It was in the same place, Banyoles. We haven’t moved since then.


My earliest memory is very clear. We went on holiday in France and we went to Eurodisney and Paris. There was a lot of people in all places. I also remember my first day in secondary school. I saw a teacher called Josep Martí and he took photos of all the students and give shook hands one by one.


I’ve been at Casa Nostra School for seven years, because it’s the same school as primary. I’ve changed once since I was young. I think that in the begining it was a difficult change but now I know a lot of people. I've think that I changed a lot from seven years ago. When I finish secondary school, I’ll probably go to other school and I’ll study Batxillerat and later I’ll go to the university. Before I’m old I really want to travel to Japan.

A NEWS STORY

This is the photo of a car accident at Carrer Estret in Girona. One old woman and her nephew crashed with a car, that was driven by the grandmother, when they fell in a hole.

The incident began at five o'clok. The old woman, called Mary is 75 years old tired to avoid a cat and she lost the control of the car. As soon as people saw the accident, they called the emergency services.

At first there was a lot of noise. People were nervous and the scene was striking. Then the firemen, the police and the ambulance arrived, and as fast as they could they began to help the old woman and her nephew.

After half an hour. The grandmother and the girl were ok. The firmen could put out the fire in the car and it didn't explode. They only have some cuts in the skin and some bruises. Later, in the hospital, Mary said: "These people did the thing more important in the life, save the people of death".

MY SUMMERTIME

This summer I really did a lot of things. I went to the beach for a long time. I Also went to the swimming pool or I played computer games with friends. This summer I and my family travelled to Paris and Disneyland with my sister. Well I think that was a great summer.

One week after finishing the school, I went to a campus of basketball for one week. I returned to Banyoles on the 5th of July. Later I travelled to St Antoni de Calonge and I stayed there for 2 weeks. On 30th July I, my parents, my sister and my cousin travelled to Paris by car. My father drove during 10 h. We stayed in a hotel called Davy's Crocket. The first three days we went to Disneyland with my sister. The last two days we travelled to Paris and visited it. When we arrived to Banyoles I went again to St Antoni. Then I stayed 3-4 weeks in Banyoles and I met friends. When arrived on the 14th September we must return to school and study again. I think that my summertime was great :)
In general I think that I did a lot of things. I didn't do a lot of homework but it isn't important because summer is to rest.
